“Hello again! It’s Wilma here! This time, I took my humans on the Bryrup–Vrads Vintage Railway, and I have to say… travelling by train is quite stylish!
The train may be old, but it’s beautifully restored, and the journey through forests, lakes and the peaceful Danish countryside is simply wonderful. It’s only about 5 kilometres long, but every minute is filled with beautiful views.
Before we even boarded, I met the nicest gentleman, who sold the tickets and checked them on the train. He was so friendly that I decided I should help! I even put on my railway cap and was ready to inspect everyone’s tickets… although, for some reason, my humans said I wasn’t officially qualified for the job.
When we arrived at the little station in Vrads, I discovered something very important… There was fresh drinking water… AND DOG ICE CREAM!! Now that’s how you welcome a travelling pup!
After my delicious ice cream, we followed one of the beautiful forest trails. It was peaceful, easy to walk, and packed with exciting new smells.
If you’re looking for a day out where dogs are genuinely welcome, the people are incredibly friendly, the scenery is beautiful, and there’s even dog ice cream waiting at the other end, I’d wag my tail and recommend the Bryrup–Vrads Vintage Railway every time!”
