“Hi! Guess where my humans took me this time? Munkholm Zoo!
It’s a lovely family-owned zoo with hundreds of animals, where you can get surprisingly close to many of them. Even better… well-behaved dogs are welcome too, as long as we’re on our leash and remember our manners.
It was a very hot day, but that wasn’t a problem. There were shady paths to walk along and I found fresh drinking water in two different places, so I stayed nice and cool while exploring.
I met all sorts of amazing animals, but the funniest moments were with the foxes and the dholes. They seemed so curious about me! We spent a while sniffing and looking at each other through the fence. I’m quite sure they wanted to be friends… although my humans kept saying, “Maybe let’s not test that theory.”
Then came the part that made me just a tiny bit jealous… My humans bought animal food and spent ages feeding the llamas, donkeys, pigs, goats and lots of other friendly animals. Everyone seemed to be getting tasty treats… Except me!
Excuse me… I’m the one walking all over Denmark with you! Surely I deserved at least one llama biscuit?
Thankfully, my disappointment didn’t last long. When it was time for lunch, my humans ordered some food and… completely by accident… a little French fry found its way to me.
Balance was restored. All was forgiven.”
