North Jutland with your dog – dog-friendly places
58 places where I'm allowed to come along
Are dogs allowed in North Jutland? Yes – at 58 dog-friendly places that I know of up here. And from 1 October to 31 March the beaches turn into one long dog beach, where I can run off the leash as long as I come when called.

Per the venue's website or official social mediaIf you're planning a holiday with a dog, there are 16 places to stay with a dog in North Jutland – campsites and hotels, several of them right by the beach at Blokhus, Skagen, Tornby and Klim. At 15 of the places there is an off-leash area on the grounds, and in Langdal Plantation there is a fenced dog forest.
Nature is what people come for up here, and I'm allowed along at Grenen, Råbjerg Mile, Rubjerg Knude, Thy National Park, Rebild Bakker and Lille Vildmose. If you're after activities with a dog, there are 9 attractions, 9 museums, 3 animal parks and Voergaard Castle – plus 6 dog-friendly cafés and restaurants for when we need something to eat.
At 10 of the places I'm allowed indoors. At 36 I have to be on a leash, which is simply what you do in Danish nature anyway. Do remember that rules can change – give the place a ring if we're driving a long way.
